How to permanently delete your Kaba account and data

Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the Kaba app on your device
  2. Go to Profile tab (bottom right)
  3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision when prompted
  6. Your account will be permanently deleted

Option 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, email us at support@kabadate.app with the subject line "Delete My Account".

Please include the email address associated with your Kaba account. We will process your request within 48 hours.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, bio, preferences)
  • All photos and videos you uploaded
  • Your matches and conversations
  • Voice intros and recordings
  • Verification data
  • Subscription information

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for legal and safety purposes:

  • Transaction records (for tax/legal compliance) - up to 7 years
  • Reports or safety flags (to protect other users) - anonymized
  • Anonymized analytics data (cannot identify you)

Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Your profile is hidden from other users
  • Within 24 hours: Your data is queued for deletion
  • Within 30 days: All personal data is permanently deleted from our systems and backups

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
  • Any active subscription will be cancelled (no refunds for unused time)
  • You will not be able to recover your matches or conversations
  • You can create a new account with the same email after deletion
